What To Expect

There are many clubs out there catering to many different philosophies and types of people.  Each has something to offer and has its own appeal.  Some are very large and inclusive; some are very exclusive and limited to a close circle of friends.  Some cost a lot of money.  Most require that you party in one location, and play in another.

At The Bacchus Society, we’re creating something different: a small, private club, all play on-premise, exclusive yet inexpensive; a safe environment for a new generation of swingers to explore and experiment with others of their own peer and interest group.

When you arrive at a Playgroup, you’ll find yourself entering into a sensual environment of soft music and mood lighting; conversation illuminated by the excitement and intrigue of the evening, of new friendships being struck and erotic fantasies realized.

Our goal is to create an intimate, small-group dynamic for each evening, followed by real erotic play and exploration.  Keep in mind, no one ever has to participate: everyone’s free to play and explore as they choose.  At a “typical” Playgroup you’ll be joining 4 – 6 other couples and often a single woman (or two).  As you’ll see when you come, this is a full house for our intimate setting.

First-time Swingers

Hey all,

Having just attended my first playgroup at Bacchus, I thought I might take the time to post our impressions of it so you can have an idea of what things are like.

First, understand that it was my wife's and my First Time Ever doing anything like this.  Never before crossed any kind of lines when it comes to swinging.  We'd talked ... but this was it.

It was dark and raining pretty hard by the time we showed up that night.  After hunting around in the rain 'till we found the right place, we were a little stressed and wet in all the wrong ways. So we finally knocked on the door and they let us into their place, which is an intimate space with soft mood lighting.  They had snacks and wine and beer out for anyone that wanted help relaxing a little.  Good call.

We met our hosts and other couples who had already showed up and started chatting.  I won't flatter too much, but let me just say that the gentleman of the house was an attentive host who kept the conversation going but knew when to shut up so those new to the situation could speak.  Our hostess, as you all may be privileged to find out, is a rare and generous spirit whose open and trusting nature helped set the tone for the rest of us.

So we chatted awhile and one other couple showed up.  Should you meet them eventually, you'll find he's a man you can trust to mix you a drink and they were nice enough to bring what was basically a mini-bar in a bag.  Everyone was feeling niiice and relaxed with each other by the time that our hosts decided it was time to get things started in earnest.

I don't want to ruin any surprises about how things are done around there once it gets truly interesting, but let me say some very important things about the WAY they're done.

• We were under no pressure whatsoever to do anything that myself or my wife didn't want to do.
• Every guy there was respectful and decent towards the women involved.
• The girls are Very friendly to other girls; nothing to be intimidated about ladies.
• We were moved to put ourselves in some very vulnerable positions with people we'd only known for two hours, but such was the general vibe that it felt in no way inappropriate or dangerous.
• And last, I was not expecting the friendliness factor.  I thought I might do a few things with some other people, but I was really not expecting to be welcomed as a friend and to meet people who I'd be friends with in return.  This group is intimate, unique and they have CLASS.

So there's what you're walking into.  Can't wait to meet you.

From a more "experienced" couple who'd attended other clubs and events before joining us.

We are "seasoned veterans" at this kooky lifestyle and we have been here and there and done this and that for quite some time.  With energetic confidence we can state: "The Bacchus Society gatherings are by far the friendliest, most comfortable, relaxing, and dare we mention, erotic little playgroup setting we have ever had the fortunate occasion to attend."  It's hard to even explain how remarkable this couple is ... from the effort they take to make a spectacular evening, to the way they open up their home and treat you like a member of their little cozy family ... all we can say is Amazing!!!  They're smart, witty, and hilarious to boot!!!  On top of all that, they are just so friendly, gracious, and sexy as hell!

The many times we were fortunate to have the chance to attended a Bacchus hosted event we have seen all types of couples, from nervous first timers testing the waters, to experienced couples on their ump-teenth adventure, come into the soothing and relaxed atmosphere established by the hosts and melt into wonderful night of ... well just plain old Fun!   These two have somehow found a way to subdue any pressure or anxiety of a potentially awkward situation and turn it into a fantastic environment for everyone to leave with a big grin of their faces.  No matter what your level of involvement is or aspirations may be for attending, we guarantee all expectations and fantasies well be met and then some!
