Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know “what's up” with the society.
Venue Search
After a long hiatus, we're back! Our plan is to start having events again in September 2011. Right now we're looking for a new venue at which to have our famous playgroups. If you're interested in hosting our events, please read on:
We are a fun swingers' society, twenties to forties, that meets for small-group "adult" parties once monthly and is looking for suitable host locations. We're looking for people who can host once in a while, or perferrably someone looking to host on a regular basis. Our first open date is in September. We start gathering at 8:00pm and generally go till around midnight or a bit later.
The group itself is open to physically fit couples and single females although we will entertain responses from respectful, fit, and attractive single guys that can provide us with a location and will allow them to join the fun.
Please read our requirements carefully as they are ALL essential.
Here's what we need:
· The group is generally between 10 - 20 people once monthly so we need a minimum 2 BR house or apartment with both bedrooms available as well as a decent size living/dining room area and bathroom facilities. More rooms are better. Less won't work. Houses are preferable. Consider: could as many as 12 cars park legally in your area?
· At least a queen sized AND a full sized bed will be necessary. More / larger is better. Less / smaller won't work. Keep in mind what they will be used for.
· It MUST be within 15 minutes of Albany. This WOULD include East Greenbush, Troy, Defreestville, Rensselaer, Colonie, Latham, Delmar, Bethlehem, Cohoes, and Guilderland. We're willing to extend north as far as Clifton Park because a lot of our membership comes from that area and it's full of large, lovely homes. It does NOT include Schenectady, Chatham, Saratoga, Hudson, Pittsfield, Amsterdam or Catskill. Nothing wrong with any of those locations; they just won't work for the group. Generally hotel suites do not work unless you're paying, they are a minimum of 2BRs, AND are in a hotel where no security is required to access the rooms.
· The following things AREN'T necessary but will really get our attention: Jacuzzis, stripper poles, sex furniture (i.e. sex swing), sweeeeeet mood lighting, multi-room sound systems, and ceiling mirrors.
Here's how we'll help out:
· We will provide snacks, utensils, wine, beer, lube, condoms, and guests for the events. We can also provide sheets for the beds with advanced notice.
· We will set up for the group and clean up afterward.
· We will establish a a safe, respectful mature environment and sensible ground rules for all groups BEFORE an event is held and reinforce that culture throughout the evening. If you have specific requirements for your location, they will also be communicated and enforced throughout the evening.
Hosting or attending a playgroup does NOT guarantee you'll have a sexual experience.
